The Story of the Sphinx Personal Lounger™
I love to be comfortable while I am relaxing. And, I have always liked reading while lying on my stomach. However it would only last for a few minutes as it was so uncomfortable on my body. I would have to improvise to make it comfortable to read, relax or even sunbathe while lying on my belly.
At the beach I would make two mounds of sand; one for my chest and one for
my book. At the pool I would bring extra towels or even a pillow so that I could lay comfortable on a chaise lounge on my stomach. One day lying on a chaise, I had my book on the ground and my arm was falling asleep as I was holding it over the edge of the chair.
The kids splashed in the pool and got my book wet. It was at that moment that I decided to create a lounge, something that would allow me to lie comfortably on my stomach to read, relax or sunbathe.
After making many prototypes The Sphinx is what emerged and it was more than I ever imagined in the beginning. This portable personal lounger is the
most multi-functional, versatile inflatable lounge on the market today. Use The Sphinx indoors or out, laying face up or down, in the water or as a chair.
